Safety Message Conventions
Safety messages contained in this manual, DANGER, WARNING, and CAUTION are bold and
highlighted in red for quick identification.
Danger

DANGER
message indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, results in
death or serious injury. Messages identified by the word
DANGER
are used sparingly and only for
those situations presenting the most serious hazards.
Following is a typical example of a
DANGER
message as it could appear in the manual:
