Environmental impact.

Lower your environmental footprint and energy bill with
these simple tips

1.  Clean your filter: A clean filter allows more air to flow
through the AC, making it more energy efficient.

2.  Maximize air flow: For ACs, free flowing air is like food.
For them to “eat” and operate as efficiently as possible,
they need air to pass through without being blocked.
Make sure there is nothing blocking the air flow around
your Windmill AC, on the inside and outside of your
 home.

3.  Give your AC some shade: Your unit will be happier
and work more efficiently if you place it in a window
that doesn’t get a lot of sun.

4.  Insulate the window: Make sure there are no air gaps
in your windows or walls, so cool air can’t escape (and
  warm air can’t get in).

5.  Do the little things: Run appliances that generate a lot
of heat (washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc.) during cooler
parts of the day and keep blinds closed (in your other
windows) during the sunniest parts of the day.
