LIFTING EYE INSTALLATION
The lifting eye is shipped loose along with a bag of parts.
Install the base of the lifting eye below the middle support.
See diagram below.
OPTIONAL DOLLY KIT
An optional 2-wheel dolly kit is available for this generator.
The dolly kit comes with separate instructions.

INITIAL START UP
The throttle control on these generators is preset and
locked to operate at 3600 RPM (nominal) with no load
speed set at 3690 RPM. Only a trained service technician
should be allowed to adjust this speed setting.
NOTICE: ENGINE START LOCKOUT
This unit will not start if it is low on oil. The lubricating oil
level must be at the full mark before the engine will start
and run.
BASIC OPERATION
1. Check oil level, refill as needed.
2. Move the fuel valve lever to the ON position.
3. To Start a cold engine, move the choke rod to the
CLOSED position.
4. Move the throttle lever away from the MIN. position,
about 1/3 of the way toward the MAX. position.
5. Turn the engine switch to the ON position.
6. Operate the starter. This engine is recoil start only.
Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance,
then pull briskly in the direction of the arrow as
shown below. Return the starter grip gently.
Note: Do not allow the starter grip to snap back against the
engine. Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter.
7. If the choke rod has been moved to the CLOSED
position to start the engine, gradually move it to the
OPEN position as the engine warms up.
8. The engine should promptly come up to operating
speed.
