Installation

Risk of explosion due to incorrect installation!
Ensure the connection made between the motor plate and support structure is gas-
tight. If gases can escape, there is a risk of explosion! This work must only be carried
out by customer service or approved qualified specialists!

Commissioning

Risk of explosion when using non-Ex-rated mixers!
Risk of fatal injury due to explosion! Only use mixers which have Ex labelling on the
rating plate within potentially explosive areas.

The operator is responsible for defining the potentially explosive area.
ƒ
Only Ex-rated mixers may be used within potentially explosive areas.
ƒ
Ex-rated mixers must be labelled as such on the rating plate.

Maintenance and repair

Carry out maintenance tasks according to the regulations.
ƒ
Only carry out the maintenance tasks described in these installation and operating
instructions.

Any work relating to the motor plate (installation, dismantling and replacement)
must only be carried out by customer service!

Drive unit

The drive unit is approved for use in explosive atmospheres!
ƒ
The drive unit is labelled for the present Ex zone!
ƒ
Consult the manufacturer’s instructions and comply with information on use of the
drive unit in explosive atmospheres!
