Installation
▪ Wear protective gloves!
Minimum requirements in accordance with EN 388, category II: 3131X
▪ Check the product for damage. Do not use faulty products!
▪ The pressure pipe
must not
be smaller than the pump’s pressure connection.
▪ The installation site must be clean, dry and free of frost.
▪ Disinfect the installation site if there is a danger of germs forming!

During operation
▪ Accessible basins*: Do not operate the pump if persons are in contact with the fluid.
In the event of a fault this may cause death by electric shock!
▪ Open all gate valves in the pressure pipe.
▪ The float switch must be able to move freely.
▪ Do not squash or kink the connection cable and do not drag or route it over sharp
edges.
▪ Do not allow the water level to fall below the minimum level permitted.
*Definition of “accessible basins”
Installation sites that can be walked on and directly accessed without tools (e.g. lad-
ders):
▪ Garden ponds
▪ Paddling pools
▪ Cesspools
▪ Fountains, etc.
NOTICE! The specifications applicable to swimming pools also apply to accessible
basins.

Removal
▪ Disconnect the product from the mains:
–
Product with plug:
Pull the plug!
–
Product without plug:
Have the connection cable disconnected from the power
supply by a qualified electrician.
▪ Wear protective gloves!

▪ Depending on the fluid, housing parts may reach a temperature of over 40 °C (104 °F).
Do not touch any part of the product other than the handle and allow the product to
cool down before further work.
▪ Clean and (if necessary) disinfect the product thoroughly!
▪ Drain the water used for cleaning into the sewage system.

Operating fluid
There is an oil barrier chamber between the motor and the pump. The oil separation
chamber is filled with oil (lubricating oil in accordance with ISO VG Class 32). Small oil
