IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read the instructions carefully before the first use of the
kettle and save this manual for later reference.
•
Connect the appliance to A.C. only, making sure that the voltage
conforms to the markings on the appliance.
•
After use, before cleaning or while there is a problem during
operation, always pull the plug.
•
Do not leave the appliance unattended while in operation.
•
During operation, the appliance becomes hot, inform all users
about the danger of escaping steam and scalding water. Use the
cool handle for picking up etc.
•
If more than permitted amount of water has been filled in; there is
danger of scalding water squirting out.
•
While in use, place the appliance on a plain surface.
•
Never place the appliance or connecting cord on hot surface nor
operate it in the immediate vicinity of an open fire.
•
Children are not aware of the danger resulting from handling an
electric appliance, therefore, they should never be left alone one
unattended. Do not let the cord hang down so children can reach it.
Exercise special care in the presence of children.
•
Never immerse the appliance in water; also guard the cord against
moisture.
•
Only water may be used in appliance.
•
We cannot be held responsible for possible damages resulting from
wrongful operation.
•
Hints for repair: the appliance cannot be opened in case of defect or
damaged cord and has to be sent to the maintenance service.
•
WARNING! If the appliance is overfilled, boiling water maybe
ejected.
•
Caution! Ensure that the kettle is switched off before removing it
from its stand.
•
The kettle must only be used with the supplied base unit. Do not
use the base for other purposes.
•
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid hazard.
