Unregistered IPMC Flooding enabled: Set the forwarding mode for unregistered (not-joined) IP multicast
traffic. The traffic floods when enabled, and forward to router-ports when disabled.
IGMP Snooping Enabled: When enabled, the port monitors network traffic to determine which hosts want
to receive the multicast traffic.
IGMP Querying Enabled: When enabled, the port can serve as
Querier
which is responsible for asking
hosts if they want to receive multicast traffic.
Port Mirroring
Port Mirroring is used on a network to send a copy of network packets seen on one switch port (or an entire
VLAN) to a network monitoring connection on another switch port. This is commonly used for network appliances
that require monitoring of network traffic, such as an intrusion-detection system.
Mirroring Configuration
Port to Mirror to: The port that “duplicates” or “mirrors” the traffic on the source port. Only incoming
packets can be mirrored. Packets are dropped when the available egress bandwidth is less than ingress
bandwidth.
Ports to Mirror: Select the ports that you want to mirror from this section of the page. A port is mirrored
when the “Mirroring Enabled” check-box is checked.
