Screen lock
From the Security screen, tap
Screen lock

None:
Disable any screen lock.
• Swipe:
Set swipe to unlock.
• Pattern:
Set an unlock pattern. Follow the prompts to finish the settings.
•
PIN:
Set a PIN code as the screen unlock method.
• Password:
Set a password as the screen unlock method.
Fingerprint
In addition to unlocking your phone, you can also use your fingerprint to authorize
purchases and app access.
Add a fingerprint
1. From the Security screen, tap
Fingerprint
.

Enter your pattern, PIN, or password.
Note: To add a fingerprint, you must set your backup screen lock method first.

Put your finger on the sensor on the back of your phone and lift after you feel a
vibration. Keep pressing and lifting your finger to add the different parts of your
fingerprint.
5. Tap
Add fingerprint
to add another fingerprint.
Face unlock
Unlock your phone by looking at it.
