6.4 Connection of the model PU-448 programming unit
WARNING!
■
Transmitter, programming unit and PC must be used
outside the hazardous area during configuration.
■
Tighten the screws of the terminals to avoid
communication errors. The electrical connection of the
terminals for the head-mounted versions is achieved
using the patented magWIK quick connector.
■
During the configuration, no additional power supply is
needed - the power for the PU-448 and the transmitter
is supplied from the PC, directly through the USB
connection.
The wiring is made as shown in the diagram. The connection of the
plus and minus terminals of the transmitter must be made to the red
and black magWIK terminals respectively.
