2. Design and function
2.1 Overview

2.2 Description
All wetted parts (process connection and pressure element) of the
model PG28 pressure gauge described below are manufactured from
Hastelloy C276 (2.4819). The nominal size (NS) of 100 mm or 160 mm
stated is a rounded value referred to the case diameter.
Case designs in accordance with EN 837
Version “S1”, not shown here, is equipped with a blow-out device in the
case back.
Safety version “S3”, shown above, is equipped with a solid baffle wall
between the measuring system and the dial and with a blow-out back. In
the event of a failure, the operator is protected at the front side, as media
or components can only be ejected via the back of the case.
