WARNING!
In the end application, it must be ensured that the instrument, even
with medium temperatures > 70 °C, is not heated to over 70 °C.
When mounting the instrument, care should be taken that the
permissible operating temperature of the measuring instrument
is maintained, considering the effects of convection and thermal
radiation!
Thus the instrument and the shut-off device must be protected by
sufficiently long measuring lines or syphons.
The temperature effect on the indication and measurement accura
-
cy must be observed.
The effective maximum surface temperature is not only dependent
upon these instruments, but mainly on the respective medium tem-
perature! With gaseous substances, the temperature may increase
as a result of compression warming.
In these cases it may be necessary to throttle the rate of change of
pressure or reduce the permissible medium temperature.
