Application [Calibration]
This application
[Calibration]
allows to calibrate thermometers automatically by changing the set point at user-defined
intervals with a connected CTD9100/9300 dry-well calibrator or micro calibration bath. With the calibration application
users can create a new routine, which is stored for further similar calibrations, can change existing routines and can see all
calibration results.
The CTR3000 must be connected to the calibrator with the delivered WIKA interface cable (order with the CTx9x00). The
RS-485/RS-232 interface cable connect to USB converter.

In this configuration the CTR3000 communicates the set point to the calibrator and a calibration can run automatically with
user-defined criteria. The CTR3000 compares the performance of temperature probes against a calibrated reference probe.
When the measurement from the reference temperature probe that is wired to the CTR3000 meets all the user-defined criteria
(please refer to chapter 6.4.6.1 “New calibration routine”) of the set point, the CTR3000 measures all temperature probes, logs
the data and automatically communicates the next set point. This sequence repeats until all set points are complete.
For a proper connection and a connection to the calibrator the CTR3000 has to be restarted with the lead
connected and the calibrator CTx9x00 powered on to establish a connection.
