5.2. How to adjust the angle
Illustration showing the machine of the angle.
In order to clamp the sheets for segment welding at an angle of 30° - 90°, you must adjust the
requested angle first.
•
Release both clamping levers at the hinged plate in the front and rear.
•
Swing both hinged plates upwards and shift the angle gauge up to limit stop.
•
Fix both clamping levers again.
Always adjust the same angle on both sides!
5.2.1. How to displace the clamping beams
The clamping beam should fix the sheet as close to the welding spot as possible.
Depending on the angle adjustment, it may be possible that you must displace the clamping
beam to the outside in order that it does not touch the heating element during welding.
The hinged plate features three drill holes for the positioning of the clamping beam.
Illustration showing clamped twin-wall sheets:
•
If necessary detach the clamping nuts, the
counternuts and unscrew the spindle.
•
Fix the threaded spindle in another drill hole.
(small angle = inner drill hole;
large angle = outer drill hole)
