5.7.2. PCMCIA
The unit CNC 3.0 has a drive for a PCMCIA card.
The machine stores the welding data in the internal memory as well as on the PCMCIA card if
a card is in the drive.
PCMCIA cards of the type SRAM can be used in the drive.
On a card with 256 kB memory capacity, the welding data of about 1200 weldings can have
place.
•
The PCMCIA card must be formatted before usage.
•
Insert the card with the arrow to the top and in direction of the arrow (socket side)
carefully
and with a low pressure into the reading unit.
•
The card can be read out with a WICON program.
•
The card may not be bent, opened, overheated and become wet!
•
For changing the battery necessarily consult the working instructions of the card.
Put empty batteries in the special refuse!
5.7.3. Barcode
•
For reading the barcode, glide smoothly over the barcode with the barcode reader
(maintained vertically).
•
The reader is ready as soon as the red light at its end is on.
