185MM CIRCULAR SAW                                        ENG

19)

Always observe that the lower guard is covering the blade before placing saw down on bench or

floor. An unprotected, coasting blade will cause the saw to walk backwards, cutting whatever is in its
path. Be aware of the time it takes for the blade to stop after switch is released.

20)

Do not reach into the chip ejector with your hands. They could be injured by rotating parts.

21)

Do  not  work  overhead  with  the saw. In this manner  you do  not  have sufficient control  over  the

power tool.

22)

Use suitable detectors to determine if utility lines are hidden in the work area or call the local utility

company for assistance. Contact with electric lines can lead to fire and electric shock.

23)

Do not operate the power tool stationary. It is not designed for operation with a saw table.

24)

Do not use high speed steel (HSS) saw blades. Such saw blades can easily break.

25)

When working with the power tool, always hold it firmly with both hands and provide for a secure

stance. The power tool is guided more secure with both hands.

26)

Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped with clamping devices or in a vice is held more secure

than by hand.

27)

Always wait until the machine has come to a complete stop before placing it down. The tool insert

can jam and lead to loss of control over the power tool.

28)

Wear ear protectors with power tool. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.

29)

Wear safety goggles or eye protection when using this power tool. Use a dust mask or respirator

for applications which generate dust.

30)

When  an  extension  cord  is  required  you must  ensure  it  has  the  correct  ampere rating  for  your

power tool and that it is in a safe electrical condition. Fully unwind extension cords to avoid potential
overheating.

DOUBLE INSULATION

The power tool is double insulated. This means that all the external metal parts are electrically insulated
from  the  main  power  supply.  This  is  done  by  placing  insulation  barriers  between  the  electrical  and
mechanical components making it unnecessary for the power tool to be earthed.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Be sure the supply is the same as the voltage given on the rating plate. The power tool is fitted with a
two-core cable and plug.
Remove the main plug from socket before carrying out any adjustment or servicing.
