• Turn off the thermostat anticlockwise.
• Open the lid and place the basket at the top to allow the oil to drip off.
• Shake off the excess oil or fat over the deep fryer.
• Place the fried product in a bowl or sieve with absorbent kitchen paper.
• If the deep is not used regularly, it is recommended to store the oil/fat in a dry palce at room
temperature.
TO FILTER OIL/FAT:
• Pour the oil/fat carefully into a container. Dry the deep-frying pan internally with absorbing
paper (kitchen roll).
• Place a paper filter (for example a coffee filter) in the tank and pour the collected oil/fat
carefully through the filter into the tank.
CHANGING OIL/FAT
• Change the oil or fat regularly after 10-12 times. It will improve the taste of the food. Before
taking away the oil, let it cool down.
• Never pour it into the sink.
COOKING TIMES
• Cooking times are given as an indication. They depend on quantities, the kind of food and on
every one taste.
DEEP-FROZEN FOOD:
• All the frozen food is not ready to be used: non breaded fish filets, whole fishes,…have to be
defrosted and then cooked like fresh food.
• It is no necessary to defrost pre-fried chips, fish nuggets, breaded fish filets.
• Fry smaller quantities than for fresh food (no more than the ¾ of capacity)
• Place the filter basket with deep-frozen products slowly and carefully in the deep fat fryer to
avoid any risk of burning or splashing.
