Changing the Air Filter
Your refrigerator has a FreshFlow air filter, located in the vent grille
in the inside wall above the crisper cover.
The FreshFlow air filter fights odors produced by food and is up to
15 times more effective than baking soda, which helps to maintain
a cleaner environment inside the refrigerator.
IMPORTANT: The disposable air filter should be replaced every
6 months because it gradually loses its odor-fighting properties.
Air Filter Status
■
The Filter icon on the control panel display will let you know
when it is time to change the air filter. The status indicator bar
below the icon will decrease and gradually disappear, and the
indicator will start blinking.
■
After replacing the air filter, press and hold the Temperature
and Adjust controls simultaneously for 3 seconds. The status
indicator bar will appear on the display. See “Using the
Controls.”
NOTE: You do not have to wait for the indicator bar to
disappear; you can reset the status tracking feature as
needed.
