Image to the left shows the basket that holds the
coffee capsule. The needle that pierces through
the plastic bottom is shown. It is not a tube,
but rather a U-shaped channel. The bottom is
sealed. To clean it, use a straightened paper clip
to get the coffee grounds out.
Image on the left shows the upper needle’s
location on the underside of the lid of the coffee
chamber. This needle pierces top of the coffee
capsule. Use a straightened paper clip to clean
any coffee grounds out of the 3 needle open-
ings. Also check the silicon seal on the upper
needle to see if it’s sitting properly. See below
for a visual diagram.
THE CORRECT UPPER NEEDLE SEAL INSTALLATION
NOTE:
This seal is not meant to be removed or reinstalled. However, if the seal was
removed for any reason, please reinstall it correctly with the small diameter towards the
lid and the flat area towards the Coffee capsules. Incorrect installation will cause leaks
and may prevent the coffee from brewing properly.
