Important! It is beyond the scope of this manual to provide specific
procedural  information  relating  to  vehicle  panels  and  equipment.
Refer  to  the  Factory  Service/Assembly  manual  for  detailed
information  on  how  to  remove  and/or  access  specific  vehicle
components.

Note:

Although  the  procedure  outlined  herein  is  for  installation  of  the

Arges Remote Spotlight onto the driver-side fender, the same steps would
be  followed  for  mounting  the Arges  on  the  Passenger-side  fender.  For
ease of access, it may be necessary to turn the front wheels all the way to
either the left or right before beginning this procedure.

1.

Position the template provided onto the vehicle fender, making sure
that  the  appropriate  edges  are  flush  with  the  edges  of  the  fender.
When the template is properly aligned, use a center punch, mark the
locations of the 6 holes to be drilled.

2.

Using a center punch or similar tool, mark the locations of the 6 holes
to be drilled.

Remove the template and in the areas marked, create the following
holes:

• Four  (4)  clearance  holes  sized  for  #10  hardware. These  are  the

mounting holes.

• One  (1)  clearance  hole  sized  for  #8  hardware.  This  hole  will  be

used to hold the backing plate in position.

• One (1) hole 1.25” in diameter. This will be the wire passage hole.

Be sure to thoroughly de-burr all holes before proceeding.

IMPORTANT! The following section provides one procedure that was
tested  and  proven  to  be  effective  at  this  specific  phase  of  the
installation process. You may find an entirely different method works
better for you.
