The stabilizer brackets should touch the rail ends of
the threading machine. Close the chuck on shaft
extender.
Turn feed screw counterclockwise far enough to
allow for the pipe to be placed between the shaft and
the roller.
Turn feed screw clockwise until the pipe is lightly
pinched between the shaft and the roller.
Turn the depth gage screw counterclockwise. The
head of the screw should be high enough to allow
the gage key to be placed underneath. Turn the
depth gage screw clockwise until the screw head
touches the gage. Select depth gage according to
pipe diameter and schedule.
