General Hints
While charging the hand lamp, it is not possible to turn on neither the LEDs
nor the fluorescent light.
Always store the hand lamp with a fully charged battery to achieve maximum
battery service life. To avoid completely discharging and damaging the lead-
acid battery, immediately charge the battery, if light power decreases visibly.
When battery voltage runs low, the fluorescent light will “flicker”.
Changing the Fluorescent Tube und the Battery
Attention! Dangerous voltage on the upstream electronics! Changing the
fluorescent tube and the battery should be carried out by skilled professionals
only!
1. To replace the fluorescent tube, turn the screw cap of the lamp head (3)
counter clockwise.
2. Unscrew both screws of the PCB and pull out the PCB very carefully. Protect
yourself against electric shock and use insulating rubber gloves. Hold the
PCB on the outer edge with two fingers only. Do not touch the contacts.
3. Hold the PCB firmly and pull the fluorescent tube (2) out of the base. Always
replace the fluorescent tube with one of the same type.
4. Tighten the PCB with both screws and turn the screw cap clockwise in. Turn it
only hand tight.
5. If the hand lamp does not function, even after charging the battery for several
times, the lead acid battery is defective. In this case, contact our customer
support department.
Cleaning
Clean the housing with a lightly moistened cloth. Do not immerse the hand
lamp into liquids.
Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives in order not to damage the
surfaces.
