Operation
Before first Use
Take the LED hand lamp and the accessories out of the packaging. Keep
packaging material out of reach of children. There is risk of suffocation!
Charge the lead-acid battery before using the hand lamp for the first time.
Charging with Mains Adaptor
1. Place the hand lamp on a solid level surface and switch the hand lamp off by
pressing the ON/OFF switch (4) to the position
O
and by turning the ON/OFF
switch for the fluorescent tube (9) down.
2. Connect the mains adaptor to the charging socket (6) and to a wall socket.
3. The charging indicator (7) lights up red. After fully charging the battery, the
charging indicator lights up green. The charging time of a completely dis-
charged battery is approx. 10 hours.
4. After charging, disconnect the mains adaptor from the unit and the wall
socket.
Charging with 12 V Car Adaptor
1. Connect the 12 V adaptor with the charging socket (6) and the cigarette
lighter socket. Switch off the hand lamp while charging!
2. The charging indicator (7) lights up red. After a complete charging process
the charging indicator turns green. The charging time for a completely dis-
charged battery is approx. 10 hours.
3. After charging, disconnect the plug from the cigarette lighter socket and
unplug from the charging socket.
The power plug of the 12 V adaptors contains a quick F 2A micro fuse (

5 x
20 mm). In the case of a failure replace it with one of the same type and
dimensions.
