Before first Use
Remove all parts of the set out of the packaging and check for
damage in transit.
Dispose of packaging material or store it out of reach of children.
Plastic bags may become a deadly toy for children.
Remove the insulating sheet at the battery compartment of the
wireless foot switch which has been added for transport safety.
Inserting/Replacing the Battery
1. The wireless foot switch is powered by a battery of the type
CR2032. The battery compartment of the foot switch is located at
its bottom side. Carefully remove the battery compartment lid at
the small recess to open the battery compartment. If necessary,
use a small screwdriver to open remove the lid.
2. Insert a new battery of the type CR2032 into the battery com-
partment. Pay attention to the proper polarity of the battery. The
plus pole has to face outside the device.
3. Close the battery compartment with the lid. Make sure it audibly
snaps into place.
Replace the battery if the socket-outlet (the receiver) no longer
reacts on the signals of the wireless foot switch.
Using the On/Off Switch
The two power sockets (4) are permanently-wired. If the power plug
(6) is connected to the power mains, voltage is applied to these
sockets.
Press the on/off switch (3) at the top side of the socket-outlet to
apply voltage to the four sockets (1). The LED indicator (2) lights
up.
Press the on/off switch (3) at the top side of the socket-outlet
again to switch off the four sockets (1). The LED indicator (2)
goes off.
