Operation
Before first Use
Remove the unit out of the packaging. Keep packaging materials out of reach
of children. There is risk of suffocation!
Intended Use
The battery charger is designed for charging Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries.
Do not attempt to charge Lithium batteries or batteries that are unknown to
you.
Always observe the charging time stated on the batteries.
Hints

Ni-CD batteries and Ni-MH batteries should be used until they are
completely discharged. Do not recharge them before they are discharged.

Please note that fresh batteries will gain their maximum capacity after
several charging and discharging cycles. First the battery charger entirely
discharges the batteries to avoid the “memory effect”.

Batteries lose some of their energy and capacity during storage, even if the
batteries have not been used.

Refresh batteries before each use after a long storage period.

Store recharged batteries separately from discharged batteries to avoid
mix-ups.

Inspect the batteries and check if they are damaged, rusted, oxidised or if
the batteries show leakages or other taints. Such batteries must not be
charged!

Up to 8 batteries can be tested/charged separately and independently from
each other at the same time.
