Safety Notes
Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes on operating
the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is handed over to a third
party!
Please read this manual carefully and use the convector heater only according
to the manual.
Ensure that the mains voltage available in your area corresponds to the
operating voltage stated on the type label.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the convector heater, unless they are supervised and briefed for their
safety by a qualified person.
Do not operate the heater in areas with fire hazard. Do not use the it in rooms
in which highly inflammable gases or dust can be formed. There is risk of fire!
When operating the heater, make sure the room does not contain inflammable
materials, such as petrol, solvents, spray cans, paints etc. Also make sure that
the unit is not operated in the vicinity of wood, paper, plastics etc. Keep such
materials away from the heater.
The heater becomes hot when in use. Do not touch hot surfaces
to avoid burns. Never cover the unit. There is risk of fire due to
overheating!
Always use a properly grounded electrical outlet to operate the
heater. Always turn off the heater before unplugging it. Always pull on the plug,
not on the cord.
Do not operate the heater with a damaged plug or power cord or if the heater
itself became damaged.
Do not use the heater outdoors. The unit is not intended for use in damp and
wet locations. Make sure that water cannot enter the interior of the heater. Do
not touch the heater with wet hands. There is risk of electric shock.
Should the unit become damaged do not use it any further and have it repaired
by a professional or contact our customer support department. Do not
disassemble the convector heater or try repairing it yourself.
