When

 

arming

 

in

 

away

 

mode,

 

all

 

sensors

 

including

 

PIR

 

motion

 

sensors

 

will

 

become

 

active.

 

This

 

mode

 

also

 

gives

 

you

 

extra

 

time

 

to

 

exit

 

before

 

the

 

system

 

is

 

fully

top

 

button

 

once.

 

 

When

 

arming

 

away,

 

the

 

system

 

will

 

slowly

 

beep

 

continuously

 

for

 

approximately

 

10

 

seconds.

 

The

 

beeping

 

will

 

then

 

get

 

faster

 

for

 

another

 

10

 

seconds,

 

after

 

which

 

the

 

system

 

will

 

arm

 

with

 

two

 

confirmation

 

beeps.

  

This

 

is

 

called

 

the

 

exit

 

period.

  

Once

 

the

 

system

 

becomes

 

active,

 

any

 

sensor

 

movement

 

or

 

motion

 

detection

 

will

 

trigger

 

the

 

alarm

 

system.

 

Alarm

 

Triggering

 

When

 

a

 

trigger

 

occurs,

 

the

 

system

 

will

 

enter

 

a

 

pre

trigger

 

mode

 

for

 

a

 

period

 

of

 

10

 

second,

 

giving

 

you

 

time

 

to

 

disarm

 

the

 

alarm

 

before

 

the

 

siren

 

sounds.

 

 

This

 

pre

trigger

 

warning

 

sounds

 

like

 

3

 

rapid

 

chirps,

 

a

 

delay,

 

3

 

rapid

 

chirps,

 

a

 

delay

 

and

 

then

 

3

 

final

 

rapid

 

chirps.

 

 

During

 

this

 

pre

trigger

 

warning,

 

the

 

system

 

must

 

be

 

deactivated

 

/

 

disarmed

 

by

 

either

 

the

 

Pin

 

Pad

 

or

 

the

 

Remote

 

Key

 

Fob

 

otherwise

 

the

 

siren

 

will

 

sound.

 

 

Once

 

triggered,

 

the

 

siren

 

will

 

sound

 

for

 

30

 

seconds

 

and

 

will

 

then

 

rearm.

 

For

 

that

 

particular

 

sensor

 

trigger,

 

the

 

siren

 

will

 

repeat

 

this

 

cycle

 

twice

 

more.

 

If

 

another

 

sensor

 

triggers

 

the

 

Alarm,

 

then

 

that

 

would

 

cause

 

the

 

siren

 

to

 

sound

 

for

 

a

 

further

cycles

 

of

 

30

 

seconds

 

each

 

or

 

until

 

a

 

valid

 

disarm

 

signal

 

is

 

received.
