Operation
try to sharpen the saw chain yourself if you do not have the proper
tool and experience.
▪
Always follow the instructions for lubricating, chain tensioning and
changing accessories. An improperly tensioned or lubricated chain
may either break or increase the risk of kickback.
▪
Replace dull saw chains and have the chains sharpened
professionally.
Cleaning and Storing
▪
Do not wipe the housing of the machine with sharp detergents or
aggressive chemicals in order not to damage the surfaces.
▪
Always keep the handles free from oil in order to have a secure
grip.
▪
Regularly clean the clamping mechanism by blowing out with
compressed air or cleaning with a brush. Do not use tools for
cleaning.
▪
Always switch off the chain saw when transporting or carrying the
machine. Place the chain guard over the guide bar.
▪
If the chain saw is not operated for long period of time, empty the oil
tank.
▪
Store the chain saw indoors in a dry and dust-free place. Protect
the machine from dust and extreme temperatures.
