Operation
Continuity Test
With this function you can check electrical circuits, cables or
components for continuity.
Attention!
Do not perform continuity tests on voltage-carrying components
or circuitry.
Measuring Procedure
1. Make sure the component or circuit you intend to measure is
voltage free.
2. Set the rotary function switch (3) to 2000 Ω .
3. Connect the black measuring cable to the COM input (6)
and the red measuring cable to the V/ Ω / input (5). Now
connect the measuring tips to the component of circuitry.
4. An acoustic signal sounds if the resistance is lower than
30 Ω , confirming that the component or the circuit has
passed the continuity test.
Cleaning and Storing
ƒ Only clean the device with a soft moist cloth and allow it to
dry completely before the next use.
ƒ Do not use abrasives and aggressive chemicals.
ƒ Store the unit in a dry place.
