Usage
Operation
1. Remove the blade section from your hedge trimmer. Please refer to the
manual of your hedge trimmer. Adjust the blades as shown below. The blades
must be set in such a way that the grinding wheel can be inserted between the
teeth of the knives. Only the upper blade, which is without mushroom
extensions, requires sharpening. Grind only the inclined cutting edges.
2. Pull the power plug of the machine out. Open transparent cover and loosen
the clamping screws (2) on the upper clamping piece of the blade carrier.
Place the blade in the carrier and clamp it in place with the upper part. Make
sure the carrier has a firm grip on the blade.
3. Loosen the clamping screws on the support of the motor. Adjust the motor
in such a way that the grinding disc matches the angle of the cutting edges.
Set the end stops (1) in such a way that the disc can cover the entire cutting
surface. Move the blade against the disc and set the angles in such a way that
it matches the inclined surface as shown in the drawing below. Be sure to
retighten all clamping screws when the adjustments have been made.
