plug to unplug from the wall socket. Carry the hedge trimmer by
the handle when the blades are idle. Always fit the blade protec-
tion when carrying or storing the hedge trimmer. Careful han-
dling with the trimmer reduces the risk of injury.
Do not pull the trimmer by the cord. Make sure the power cord
cannot get caught in any way.
When cleaning, maintaining and not in use always switch off and
disconnect from power mains.
Use only extension cables which are approved for outdoor
operation. Use approvable extension cable with a cable quality
of H07RN-F; 3x1.5 mm

For using the unit, we recommend the use of an RCD with a
tripping residual current < 30 mA. In Switzerland the utilisation of
an RCD is obligatory.
The blades are very sharp. Do not touch the blades during use
and keep fingers, hair, clothing and similar objects away from the
blades.
Do not attempt to remove cut material from the blades or to hold
material to be cut when the blades are running. Remove jammed
material from the blades after switching off and unplugging. A
moment of inattention while operating the hedge trimmer may
result in serious personal injury.
Keep the blades always sharp and clean. Replace defective or
completely worn blades with original parts only.
Do not force the trimmer while cutting. Allow the hedge trimmer
to work at the rate for which it was designed.
Have sufficient rests!
Should the unit become damaged or any part need to be
replaced, do not use it and have it repaired by a professional or
contact our customer support department. Do not disassemble
the unit or try repairing it yourself.
