Operation
1. Push the button MEAT (8) to select the desired meat
type. The appropriate, pre-selected target temperature
appears on the display at TARGET TEMP (5).
When you choose the programme PGM, you can select
your individual taste temperature as target temperature
for the meat to be prepared. For selecting the tempera-
ture use the buttons
“Up“ (9) resp. “Down“ (10). The
temperature range is from -50° C up to 300° C resp.
from -58° F up to 572° F.
Pre-Selected Doneness Levels
WELL M WELL MEDIUM M RARE RARE
Hint: Some meat types (e. g. Hamburger, turkey, chicken
and fish) do not contain all doneness settings.
Operation
1. Start preparing the meat as desired (cooking or roast-
ing.
2. Insert the plug of the measuring probe into
the socket on the thermometer.
Hint: If the measuring probe is not inserted
correctly into the socket, the display will
show the error

3. Insert the measuring probe of the thermome-
ter at least 2 cm deep into the thickest part
of the meat and wait until the displayed val-
ue stops changing.
