Safety Instructions
For the prevention of faulty functioning, damage and injury to health,
please observe the information given below:
Please read this operating manual carefully and use the appliance only as
described.
Please use the appliance only for heating up chocolate. Please do not use the
appliance for heating up any other liquids or foodstuffs.
Do not overfill the container (B). Please observe the MAX mark engraved in
the container.
Fill only the container. Never fill the heating basin.
Please check before starting up that the rated voltage on the type plate on the
underside of the appliance corresponds to the mains voltage available.
If the appliance or the mains cables are damaged, the appliance must not
continue to be used and must be repaired by a specialist.
Do not lead the main cable across sharp corners and edges or hot surfaces.
Do not touch any hot parts. During operation, the container can become hot.
Pay increased attention if the appliance is used in the presence of or close to
children.
During operation, place the appliance on a level surface. Do not place the
machine in wash basins, on draining boards or slanting surfaces.
Do not use the appliance outside and do not use it close to gas flames,
cooker plates or other hot objects or within an oven.
Never immerse the base housing (A) into liquids.
If you do not use the appliance for some time or clean it, switch the appliance
off and pull the plug out of the mains socket.
Never pull on the mains cable, but always take hold of the mains plug. Do not
touch the plug with moist hands.
Allow the appliance cool down completely before cleaning it or storing it.
Do not dismantle the appliance and do not attempt to repair it. The appliance
does not contain any parts which can be replaced or repaired by you.
The appliance is intended only for household use and not for continuous,
commercial application.
