Holder Fixing Knob (a) Bridge Guard
Fixing Knob (b) Fixing Knob (c)
Loosen the toggle (13) and adjust the parallel stop as
required. You can pull out the toggle outwards and reposition,
if there is not enough space to turn the toggle. The inclination
of the parallel stop can be read from the scale (12).
Bridge Guard
Always use the bridge guard (7). It should cover the part of
the knife block which is not needed for working on the work
piece.
Never work without the bridge guard! The rapidly revolting
knife block can cause severe injury and should always be
covered.
1. Place the holder for the planing knife cover (11) on the left-
hand side of the planing table (1) so that the pin and grub
screw engage in the two holes.
2. Secure the planing knife cover (7) using the locking knob (a)
supplied.
Hint: The fixing knobs (b) and (c) are for adjusting the position of
the bridge guard.
