Make sure the tool is correctly assembled for the appropriate
application and used properly.
Before use read and understand all warnings, safety precau-
tions, and instructions as outlined in the vehicle manufac
turer’s
service manual. Every vehicle has specific measurement values
for vacuum related readings. It is beyond the scope of this
manual to properly describe the correct procedure and test data
for each vehicle.
WARNING! Always use caution when working around fuel
systems. The fuel in the fuel rail may be pressurized even if
the engine is not running.
Prior to using the tool place the transmis
sion lever in “PARK”
position (if automatic) or “NEUTRAL” (if manual).
Turn off the engine of the vehicle.
Block the wheels.
Procedures not specifically explained in this manual must be
performed only by a qualified technician.
Work on safety-related parts or systems (especially in motor
vehicles) may only be performed by an expert, who has all
the necessary specific knowledge of each system. If you
work as non-expert on safety-related parts or systems, the
insurance protection will expire.
