Operation
Before first Use
Remove the device from the packaging and dispose of the packag-
ing materials carefully; the plastic bags may become a deadly toy
for children.
Inserting the Batteries
Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit and insert 6
batteries 1.5 V LR14 (C) with correct polarity. Polarity symbols are
located inside the battery compartment.
Operation from the Power Mains
Insert the included power cable into the power socket (9) and into a
suitable wall socket. Make sure the power plug can be easily
reached. The unit is not protected against dripping or sprayed water.
Do not place items filled with water on the unit. During battery
Operation remove the power cable from the unit.
Listening to the Radio
1. Turn the volume control knob (1) clockwise to turn on the radio
and to set the volume.
2. In the set of keys (4), press the FM function key to select the FM
frequency band or press the AM function key to select the AM
(MW) frequency band.
3. Select the desired station by turning the control dial (8). Read the
frequency at the frequency range scales.
4. Use the volume control knob (1) to adjust the volume to the
desired level. Use it to turn the radio off by turning counter
clockwise unit it clicks audibly.
AUX Function
Connect external devices the AUX IN socket (11). Press the AUX
button in the set if keys (4).
