Preparation
Check if all tubes of the drain system are firmly connected! Only use the drain
pipe cleaner if the tubes are properly connected.
When using the drain pipe cleaner for
opening sink openings
, cover the
overflow opening of the sink with a piece of cloth or use duct tape to close the
opening.
For dual sinks have another person wedge a wet cloth into the drain of the
adjacent sink and hold in place.
Add water to the blocked sink until the attachment is covered completely.
When using for
opening shower/bath tub sinks
, proceed as described in
"
opening sink openings
”. The shower tray must be filled with water. The
overflow openings have to be sealed with duct tape.
When using for
opening toilet drains
, fill the toilet with water. The water level
must be higher than the toilet bowl attachment.
Flush lower floor toilets to be sure they are clear before using the drain pipe
cleaner on upper floor toilets.
If necessary, use a splash guard foil to protect against possible splash. Drape
the protection foil over the rim of the bowl and secure the edges of the foil with
duct tape.
