Operation
Notes:
Do not enclose more than one conductor in the clamp during
measuring. Incorrect measurement values may be obtained.
For optimum results, press the function switch key (5) before
each measurement to reset the display to zero.
Centre the conductor in the clamp and hold the meter steadily
during measuring.
If “
OL
” is shown on the display at the manual range mode, the
selected measuring range has been exceeded by the meas-
urement value. Select a higher range.
In manual measuring range mode select the highest range
when the value to be measured is unknown.
Do not exceed the maximum input current of 600 A
.

Measuring AC Voltage
1. Connect the black measuring cable to the COM jack (9) and
the red measuring cable to the input jack (10).
2. Set the rotary function switch (13) to the V
range position
for measuring voltage. The clamp meter switches into the
AC V range.
3. Use the range switch key RAN (7) to select auto range mode
or manual range mode.
4. Connect the measuring tips parallel to the voltage source or
load terminals for measurement.
5. Read the voltage value from the display.
