Operation
Extension Cord Clamp
While working with the branch
cutter the power cord might be
inadvertently unplugged. To
avoid unplugging, fasten the
power cord and the extension
cord together, as shown in the
picture, by using the included
extension cord clamp.
Operation
1. Check the oil level and
connect the power plug to
power mains.
2. To switch on the branch
cutter, first depress the
trigger switch lock-out (13)
and then press the trigger
switch (11). Then, release
the trigger switch lock-out.
3. To switch off the branch cutter, release the trigger switch (11). Please
observe that the machine will still run for some seconds. While cutting,
make sure the oil level does not run out; refill in time.
Adjusting the Telescopic Tube and the Shoulder Strap
1. To enlarge the telescopic tube, unscrew the wing screws (6) – either one or
all – and pull out the telescopic tube according to application. Then
securely retighten the wing screws. The branch cutter can be enlarged up
to a total length of 2.90 m.
2. To ensure well-balanced weight distribution, preferably use the shoulder
strap. Adjust the shoulder strap to the desired working position.
Changing the Saw Chain
Always pull the power plug before undertaking any maintenance work.
The saw chain is full of sharp edges. When handling it you should always
wear gloves. Slacken the chain until it hangs loose by unscrewing the chain
tensioning screw.
