Using
6. Press the ON/TARE button (3) for approx. 3 seconds in order to switch
off the scale. Or wait for some time, the scale will automatically
switches off when idle for 90 seconds.
Tare Function
1. Switch on the scale, weigh the first food or the bowl and leave the
scale on.
2. Press the ON/TARE button (3) to reset the display to
0
(zero). On the
display the word
TARE
will be displayed.
3. Place additional food on the scale. The weight of the additionally
placed food will be displayed. If necessary, repeat these steps by
pressing the /ONTARE button again.
Please note: By pressing the ON/TARE button, only the display will be
reset to
0
(zero). The previously weighed value will be stored
internally. That means, if 1 kg has been weighed, you can only weigh
9 kg in addition. The maximum weight is 10 kg (350 oz).
Note: If you overload the scale the displays
will show the error message
EEEE
. In this case,
remove the weight and weigh only a part of
the food.
The maximum load of the scale is 10 kg.
Inserting/Replacing the Battery
Replace the battery as soon as the battery symbol appears on the display
or if the display shows not entirely clear readings.
1. Open the battery compartment lid. It is located at the bottom side of
the scale.
2. Insert 1 fresh battery of the type CR 2032into the battery compartment.
3. Pay attention to the proper polarity of the battery. The polarity is
printed inside the compartment. Close the battery compartment.
