General Notes:
For safe and reliable operation the jack must be well lubricated and free from
foreign objects.
You can use the jack like a car jack, but you can also remove the base plate
and attach a shackle of the sufficient strength to attach a suitable chain to lift
or pull a load. You can also shackle chains to the upper and the lower jaw of
the jack. Keep in mind that the upper jaw can only be used to pull loads of up
to 340 kg. This also applies if the jack is used as a press.
Lifting or Pulling a Load:
Set the reversing switch (2) to the upper position, as shown in the upper
picture on page III. The lever (9) must be parallel to the rail. When the lever (9)
is now moved up and down, the lower jaw climbs up on the rail.
Lowering a Load:
To slowly lower a load, the jack must be under a load of at least 75 kg. Set the
reversing switch (2) to the lower position, as shown in the lower picture on
page III. The lever (9) must be parallel to the rail. If the jack is under a light
load or no load, the lower jaw will now drop. Therefore, operate the reversing
switch (2) with the necessary caution!
If the load on the jack is higher than 75 kg and the lever (9) is moved up and
down, the jaw will now descend on the rail.
