Operation
Before first Use
Remove the screwdriver out of the packaging. Keep packaging materials out
of reach of children. There is risk of suffocation!
Mode of Operation
The screwdriver is equipped with a clutch. With this clutch the motor can spin
without the tool bit moving. Only when the bit is inserted into the bit holder (3)
and pressure is applied, the clutch will engage and the bit will turn.
When the screw is screwed down to the set depth, the depth stop (4) will make
contact with the material and pressure will be taken off the bit. The clutch will
now disengage.
Inserting/Changing the Tool
1. Before undertaking any work on the machine, pull the power plug.
2. Insert a tool which is suitable for the screw into the bit holder (4). The
integrated magnet will pull the tool into the holder and secure it.
3. Please Notice! Allow the tool bit to cool down before touching it. The bit
can be very hot and there may be sharp burrs due to wear or damage. To
remove the tool, pull back the setting ring (2) and grasp the bit with pliers.
Setting the Depth Stop
Push the depth setting ring (2)
forward.
Turn the ring to the left to
increase the depth.
Turn the ring to the right to
decrease the depth.
After setting the depth, the setting
ring must be pushed back into
position. This way the setting is
fixed. To determine the screw
depth, it is recommended to begin with a low depth setting and to readjust
to the final depth.
