Safety Notes
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the appliance and
connect the plug to a grounded wall socket only.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified person
or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the appliance.
Only use the appliance for the intended use, to cook and heat up food. The
appliance is designed for household use only.
Place the single cooking plate on a flat, heat-resistant and stable surface and
do not use the appliance outdoors. Do not place the appliance on or near a
gas or electric stove to avoid damaging the appliance or the cord.
Make sure that the space between the appliance and the wall, furniture or
other objects is at least 10 cm (4 inches). Keep inflammable objects and
materials, such as newspaper, PVC, alcohol, tablecloths, flooring, curtains
and the like away from the appliance.
Never operate the hotplate without pot or pan. Please note that superheated
fats and oils can easily burn.
Guard against electric shock. Never immerse the whole appliance, the plug or
the power cord into water and do not splash water on the appliance when it is
in operation.
Do not touch hot surfaces, risk of burn! Wait until hot parts have
completely cooled down before carrying or cleaning the single
cooking plate.
Please switch OFF the appliance and unplug from the power supply before
cleaning or when not in use.
Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or countertop, or to
touch hot surfaces. Do not operate the single cooking plate with a damaged
cord or plug.
Should the appliance become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by
a professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disas-
semble the appliance or try repairing it yourself.
