Clamping the Workpiece
1. The drill table and the base are provided
with mounting slots for the use of clamping
tools. Use these mounting slots for fix the
workpiece with an appropriated tool, e. g. a
vice.
2. Always
fix
the
workpiece
with
an
appropriate tool on the table.
Never hold the workpiece by hand! There
is risk of injury!
Repositioning the Drill Table
The drill table is attached with the table holder
on the column and tightened with the clamping
bolt (P). When loosening the clamping bolt you
can adjust the height of the drill table.
If you have to drill very long workpieces that have to be fixed directly on the base,
you can easily move the drill table aside.
When you have to drill very small workpieces, make sure to adjust the correct
position of the drill table. Observe the correct distance between workpiece and
drill tip.
Angled Drilling
For performing angled drilling or when
drilling workpieces with inclined surfaces,
you can tilt the drill table.
1. Loosen the drill table clamp screw
(part no. 4) under the drill table, tilt the
table into the desired position and
retighten the clamp screw.
2. Always fix the workpiece on the table.
Never hold the workpiece with you
hand while drilling.
