Safety Notes
.
Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
ƒ Dispose of packaging materials or store them out of reach of children. There
is danger of suffocation!
ƒ Use the air jack only for the intended use, to lift up vehicles. Keep the air jack
out of reach of children. The air jack is not a toy.
ƒ Before using the air jack, make sure the vehicle cannot move. Secure the
vehicle with handbrake, wheel wedges etc.
ƒ Do not touch the hot exhaust pipe. There is danger of burn!
ƒ Do not breathe the hazardous exhaust fumes when working on the exhaust
pipe or when lowering the vehicle.
ƒ Do not try to lift up the entire vehicle but only one side (only 2 wheels). Only
place the air jack on supporting elements. You can either place the air jack on
the driver’s side, the passengers side or, if necessary on the rear end of the
vehicle, e.g. under the axis (Please note! Do not place the air jack under the
luggage boot to avoid damaging the undercarriage).
ƒ Only use the air jack on vehicles with a max. total weight of 3 tons.
ƒ
Before starting the engine, make sure the gear shift lever is in idle running
position and for automatic cars in position „N“ or „P".
ƒ
Before using the air jack, check for any damages. Do not use the air jack if
there are rips or abrasions.
ƒ
Keep the air jack and the hose away from the hot exhaust pipe and do not
bend the hose.
ƒ
Always use the air jack with the protection mats to avoid damages. Protect
the air jack from sharp objects such as stones, glass, nails etc.
ƒ
Never pump up the air jack fully. Only pump up to 80% of the air jack volume.
ƒ Never lie under the vehicle if the vehicle is lifted by the air jack.
ƒ If possible, wear protective goggles when using the air jack.
ƒ Make sure that non-essential persons are in the vehicle and keep a save
distance while the vehicle is lifted.
ƒ Do not use the air jack as a jack stand for long period of time. If you have to
work under the vehicle, lift it up and secure the vehicle with suitable support-
ing blocks.
