Start-Up and Operation
Method of Operation and Range of Application
 This marten repeller scares martens away by means of high-
frequency sounds with a frequency of 12 kHz. The sound
intervals are approx. 60 seconds.
 Range of application: Car, house, garage, barn, loft or arbour.
The marten repeller protects cables, wires and other rubber
parts from marten bites.
Inserting the Batteries and Operation
1. Unscrew the screw of the battery compartment (4) and insert 4
baby cells of the type (C) into the compartment, observing right
polarity. The battery symbols are marked inside the battery
compartment.
2. Push the ON/OFF switch (3) in direction to on . The function of
the unit is indicated by the activated control LED (2) on the top
of the unit. The marten repeller emits high-frequency sounds
for approx. 60 seconds and rests for approx.
60 seconds.
Mounting
 Install the marten repeller with the included tapping screws or
cable ties in the room (house, garage, carport, loft etc.) or in
the engine compartment of your car. For securely mounting
the unit with the screws, use the provided mounting holes (1).
 Install the marten repeller in a position where it is protected
from splash water and dirt.
Replacing the Batteries
Reduces power supply of approx. 3.9 V can lead to malfunction.
You will hear a continuous tone resp. pulse tone. In this case
replace the batteries. The marten repeller can be operated for at
least 6 months with fresh batteries.
