WAM PC Status Indicators
The WAM PC gives its current status through a combination of LED and audible signals:

Off

Powered off.
Flashing Orange

It is ready to acquire new waveforms, but the
software application must load patient
demographics first.
Flashing Orange and Green

Ready to acquire new waveforms, but one or
more lead wires is not properly connected to
the patient.
Solid Orange

Ready to acquire new waveforms, and all
leads wires are connected to the patient.
Flashing Green

Acquiring new waveforms into memory.
Flashing Green
2 ticks per second
Acquiring new waveforms into memory, but a
lead wire has become disconnected.
Solid Green

Waveforms have been stored in memory. It
is not ready to acquire new waveforms.
Off
1 tick per second
The waveforms are being wirelessly copied
from memory.
Off
2 beeps per second
The stored waveforms are being erased from
memory.
Any
3 short beeps every
15 seconds
The battery level is low and a fresh battery is
needed.

The WAM PC acknowledges certain actions with audible signals:
