AUTO DARKENING
WELDING HELMET USE AND CARE
•
Do not modify the welding helmet
in any way.
Unauthorized modification may impair the
function and/or safety and could affect the life of the equipment. There are specific
applications for which the
product
was designed.
•
Always check of damaged or worn out parts before using the welding helmet
Broken
parts will affect the
helmet
operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
•
Store idle welding helmet.
When the
product
is not in use, store it in a secure place out of
the reach of children. Inspect it for good working condition prior to storage and before
re-use.
•
This Auto-Darkening welding helmet is not suitable for laser welding and oxyacetylene
welding / cutting processes.
•
Never place this helmet and Auto-Darkening filter on a hot surface.
•
Never open or tamper with the Auto-Darkening filter.
•
This Auto-Darkening welding helmet will not protect against severe impact hazards,
including grinding discs.
•
This helmet will not protect against explosive devices or corrosive liquids.
•
Do not make any modifications to either the filter or helmet, unless specified in this manual.
Do not use replacement parts any other than those specified in this manual. Unauthorized
modifications and replacement parts will void the warranty and expose the operator to the
risk of personal injury.
•
Do not immerse the filter in water.
