4. Product description
4.1. General functions and area of application
The pool is intended to be assembled in the open air for swimming.

Risk of flooding
When selecting the location, ensure that, in the event of a water leak, the water can drain away unhindered
and without causing damage.
Installing the pool on slopes
The slope side facing the pool must either be supported with a shallow escarpment or a wall.
Under no
circumstances may the swimming pool support the slope with its wall.
Please ensure that creating a shallow escarpment will ensure that the pool cannot be washed away by
rainwater. Drainage is to be arranged for any ground or strata water which accumulates. Obtain information
about the substrate
before selecting the location.
Selection of the substrate
The ground under the swimming pool should be level, horizontal and built up. If your pool is located near
slopes and basements, you should consult a local builder. Otherwise, there may be a risk of collapse.
Built-up ground must be compressed to ensure that the swimming pool does not sink, otherwise damage or
serious accidents may occur.
The ground must be cleared of objects (e.g. stones) which could damage the PVC inner liner (risk of leak).
Any turf must also be removed.
If the pool is to be installed on asphalt or concrete, the PVC inner liner must be protected from direct contact
with the ground, otherwise damage (risk of leak) may result.
Please ensure that the PVC inner liner only comes into contact with materials compatible with PVC.
Always use the protective felt supplied as an underlay.
Space requirements
The space required depends on the size of your pool. The pool must always be accessible from the outside
on all sides to allow for inspection, ventilation and protection against weathering.
The space required should be approximately 1.0 – 1.5 m larger than your pool on all sides.
Sinking the pool into the ground
If you choose to sink your pool into the ground, consult a local builder to prevent the risk of damage or
serious accidents occurring.
