THE SOUND SOLUTION TO BIRD CONTROL
Bird Gard AVA Instructions
Please read these instructions completely before using your new
Bird Gard AVA Bird Repeller. Unpack and examine the system which
includes one control unit, one vinyl rain cover for the control
Unit, one 3m (10 feet) battery connector cable and six speakers,
each with 31m (100 feet) of connecting cable.
CONTROL UNIT
1 - Set the POWER switch to OFF.
2 - Set the MODE switch to 24 HRS.
3 - Set the TIME OFF switch to SHORT.
4 - Set the VOLUME switch to 1.
Connect the battery power cable to the POWER JACK (12 V DC).
Connect the other end of the battery cable to an operating
12-volt automobile battery. Note: you may also use an optional
12-volt, 500mA adapter, plugging the adapter into a standard
110-volt electrical outlet. (220/240-volt adapters are also
available for operation in other countries.)
EXTENSION SPEAKERS
There are six (6) speakers, each speaker includes 31m (100 feet)
of connecting cable. At the end of each cable is a connecting
jack.

Connect one speaker to each of the two SPEAKER JACKS on the
bottom of the control unit.

Connect a second speaker to the SPEAKER JACK on the bottom
of each of the first two speakers.
3 -
Connect a third speaker to the SPEAKER JACK on the bottom of
each of the second two speakers. You should now have an
array that looks like this:

OPERATION
Your Bird Gard AVA is now ready for operation. Aim speakers away
from yourself and others. if you undertake a normal (loud) sound
test of the equipment.
