2 Description of device
2.1 Use in accordance with purpose
The PSG connecting lead is for transmitting the output signals of
Weinmann sleep therapy devices to the analog ports of
polysomnographs (PSGs) made by various manufacturers. Most
Weinmann sleep therapy devices have two analog signal outputs
which provide a selection of signals such as pressure or flow, for
example. The output signals supplement or upgrade existing PSG
signals.
The output signals are selected in the WEINMANN support PC
software. 2 of the maximum available signals in each case can be
selected and assigned to the two analog channels of the therapy
devices.
The PSG connecting lead is intended for use with the following
Weinmann devices:
• SOMNO smart
• SOMNO smart 2
• SOMNO set
• SOMNO soft +
• SOMNO balance (e)
• SOMNO soft 2 (e)
• SOMNO vent CR
• SOMNO vent auto-S
• SOMNO vent auto-ST
• CAPNO sleep
